A stroke rehabilitation service combining an implanted vagus nerve stimulation device with in-clinic physical therapy to improve upper limb function. The device is surgically implanted during an outpatient procedure, followed by a one-week recovery period and continued physical therapy. At-home therapy can be activated with a magnet during rehabilitation exercises or routine tasks. Intended for chronic ischemic stroke survivors with persistent moderate to severe hand and arm impairment despite active physical therapy. Surgery and rehabilitation are covered through most insurances.
