A neurostimulation treatment for chronic ischemic stroke survivors with persistent moderate to severe hand and arm impairment after physical therapy. The service includes outpatient surgical implantation of a VNS device, in-clinic physical therapy paired with wireless VNS stimulation after a one-week recovery period, and magnet-activated VNS during at-home rehabilitation exercises and routine activities. Surgery and rehabilitation are covered through most insurances.
