Surgical implantation of an FDA-approved vagus nerve stimulation device under the skin in the upper left chest, followed by in-clinic physical therapy using wireless stimulation while performing specific rehabilitation tasks. At-home therapy can pair rehabilitation exercises and routine activities with magnet-activated stimulation. Intended for chronic ischemic stroke survivors who have completed physical therapy but continue to experience moderate to severe hand and arm impairment.
