Injections of hyaluronic acid fillers into the vulvo-vaginal area to improve hydration, elasticity, tone, sensitivity and volume, and to limit vaginal dryness. DESIRIAL® and DESIRIAL® PLUS are non-animal, biodegradable injectable hydrogels formulated for the vagina and surrounding area. The procedure includes a medical history, examination, local anaesthetic gel and disinfection before injection. Some tenderness may occur and should settle within a few days. Avoid sexual intercourse and vigorous exercise for about 5 days after treatment.
