Injection performed under ultrasound guidance. Before the procedure, shower if possible and arrange to be accompanied. The injection will not be performed if you have an active infection, significantly uncontrolled diabetes, or significantly uncontrolled high blood pressure. Afterward, rest the treated joint for 48 hours, avoid sports involving the treated limb for one week, and generally pause physiotherapy for that limb for one week.
