Specialist assessment and management for acute shoulder and elbow fractures, dislocations, and fractures that have not healed as expected. The service includes rapid imaging with X-ray and CT where needed, non-surgical management for stable fractures using a sling, physiotherapy and close monitoring, and surgical fixation or reconstruction for displaced or complex fractures. Urgent appointments can usually be accommodated within one to two days. Second opinions following NHS treatment are also available. Immediate emergency injuries should first be treated at the nearest A&E.
