An internal pelvic ultrasound examination performed with your consent, usually after a transabdominal ultrasound assessment. The procedure involves gently inserting a sterilised, lubricated ultrasound transducer into the vagina to obtain detailed images of pelvic structures. You may insert the transducer yourself if preferred, and a support person may accompany you. Please advise the sonographer of any latex allergy. You may raise concerns or withdraw consent at any time.
