A minimally invasive mitral valve replacement procedure for high surgical risk patients with symptomatic valve deterioration after tissue mitral valve replacement. The procedure may use access through the groin blood vessels or the chest and includes evaluation with cardiac CT and echocardiography, trans-septal valve placement, hospital monitoring, and a comprehensive echocardiogram within 24 hours after the procedure.
