A less invasive procedure for selected patients with severe mitral regurgitation, performed through a small incision in the groin. The MitraClip device brings the mitral valve leaflets together to reduce leakage. Advanced imaging techniques, including three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography, are used to assess candidacy and monitor progress.
