A teen mentoring program for adolescents ages 14 to 21, with or without an autism diagnosis, who mentor younger children on the autism spectrum. Includes mentor training, workshops on leadership, goal setting, and future planning, monthly social, recreational, or community service events, and individualized goal setting. The program runs from September through May. Participants must be able to communicate clearly, participate independently or with minimal adult support, and cannot require 1:1 staffing or engage in aggressive or self-injurious behavior.
