A teen mentorship program for adolescents typically in high school between ages 14 and 21. Mentors, with or without an autism diagnosis, receive training in mentoring, leadership, goal setting, and future planning, and participate in monthly social, recreational, and community service activities from September through May. The program focuses on leadership skills, self-confidence, independence, community connections, social awareness, and positive relationships. Participants cannot require 1:1 staffing or engage in aggressive or self-injurious behavior.
