A teen mentoring program for typically high school-aged adolescents between 14 and 21, with or without an autism diagnosis. Participants receive training and engage in monthly social, recreational, and community service activities focused on leadership, goal setting, socializing, community connections, and mentoring younger children on the autism spectrum. The program year runs from September through May. Participants must be able to communicate clearly, attend trainings and workshops, and provide support independently or with minimal adult support. Participants cannot require 1:1 staffing or engage in aggressive or self-injurious behavior.
