A one-term, 12-week, multi-sensory language and spelling programme for pupils in years 4 to 6 who are struggling to keep up in the classroom. A specialist teacher works in school with teaching assistants and small groups of children for four 35-minute sessions, training the teaching assistant to continue the programme. Training materials are provided, and the programme focuses on target words from the National Statutory spelling lists.
