Ultrasound-guided injection targeting the suprascapular nerve to reduce shoulder pain and support improved movement and rehabilitation. Suitable for persistent or severe shoulder pain, including frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tendinopathy or tears, subacromial pain syndrome, shoulder osteoarthritis, and persistent pain following shoulder injury or surgery. The procedure includes consultation, ultrasound assessment, explanation of benefits and risks, and precise injection delivery. Local anaesthetic and corticosteroid may be used, with hydrodilatation or staged repeat injections considered in selected cases. Patients are usually advised to gradually increase movement, begin or continue physiotherapy within 5-7 days, and avoid excessive strain for a short period after treatment.
