Details.
Motorized traction treatment performed on a specialized table. The spine is gently and precisely stretched in controlled tension and relaxation phases to help retract herniated or bulging disc material and draw fluid, nutrients, and oxygen back into the disc. Commonly used for herniated lumbar discs, bulging discs, degenerated discs, sciatica, radiating leg pain, chronic low back pain with a disc component, and facet syndrome. Cervical decompression is available for certain neck and disc-related arm pain conditions. Treatment is evaluated individually and may be combined with chiropractic adjusting, flexion distraction technique, and massage therapy. Not generally recommended for severe osteoporosis, spinal fractures, certain spinal implants, or advanced spinal instability.
