A no-cost, confidential and voluntary process through the Bureau of Special Education Appeals. An impartial mediator helps parents and school personnel clarify concerns, explore options and create a written agreement concerning educational needs, evaluations, eligibility, placement, IEP implementation or 504 accommodations. Sessions generally take 2 hours to one day.
