A no-cost, confidential process in which an impartial third-party mediator helps parents and school staff clarify issues, explore options, and reach mutually satisfying agreements about a student's educational needs. Interpreters are provided when needed. Sessions usually take 2 hours to 1 day, and multiple sessions may be scheduled.
