Develops language skills for tertiary study, along with research, analysis and laboratory skills for undergraduate study in biology, chemistry and physics. Topics include microscope skills, ecological field study, evolution debate and independent research. Chemistry skills include cation and anion identification, volumetric analysis, experimental design and equilibrium modelling. Physics skills include waves and light, medical physics, report preparation and seminar presentation. Prerequisite: nil. Assessment is competency based.
