Saliva samples are collected at school, transported to Cerballiance regional technical centres, and analysed using the RT-PCR technique. Parental consent is required for children, or consent from the adult student. Results are usually available within 24 hours, with availability notified by SMS. Parents are immediately notified in case of a positive result.
