Details.
An injectable polynucleotide therapy using purified polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA. The treatment stimulates tissue repair, collagen and elastin activity, angiogenesis, extracellular matrix repair, hydration, skin thickness and barrier function. It is suited to early to moderate signs of skin ageing, thin or dehydrated skin, uneven texture, under-eye thinning, compromised skin barrier, dullness and environmentally damaged skin. Skin is cleansed and a topical anaesthetic is applied before a series of superficial microinjections. Small raised bumps are normal and typically flatten within 24 to 48 hours, while mild redness and swelling usually resolve within a few days. An initial course of two to three treatments spaced three to four weeks apart is generally recommended, followed by maintenance sessions as advised by a clinician.
