Legal Aid Ontario may pay a lawyer's fees to help eligible people in Ontario with a refugee claim. The lawyer can advise on completing the Basis of Claim form, ensure it is complete and understood before signing, explain required evidence and how to obtain it, help prepare for the hearing, and attend the hearing with you.
