Details.
RCD trip time and current testing performed on premises to help meet Australian Standard AS/NZS 3760 obligations. The procedure includes locating the switchboard and identifying RCD-protected circuits, checking the switchboard door hinge, locking mechanism and weatherproof seal, cleaning the switchboard exterior and surrounding area, barcoding RCD circuits for tracking and data management, performing a push-button operational test, measuring trip time and current with an RCD test device in accordance with the Standard, and recording test results and actions taken. Testing is conducted every 6 months, yearly or biennially depending on the environment.
