Specialised medical assessment for Queensland coal mine workers, supporting fitness for work, early diagnosis and intervention for respiratory diseases, and referrals for follow-up where needed. Assessments include a chest examination, chest X-ray dual-read by a qualified radiologist in line with International Labour Organisation standards, spirometry with comparison to previous tests where available, and any other examination deemed necessary by an appropriate doctor. Available as initial, periodic and exit medicals.
