Comprehensive mental health services for people living with cancer and their loved ones. Psychologists and psychiatrists use behavioral and medical therapies to address psychological and social issues, and teach goal-setting, mindfulness and other strategies to improve quality of life. Services can help with appetite changes, caregiving challenges, psychological distress including anxiety and depression, insomnia, pain, relationship concerns and social isolation. Available to patients of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center with a referral from a UCSF cancer doctor.
