Details.
A non-surgical treatment involving drawing a small amount of blood, centrifuging it to isolate the platelets, and injecting them into targeted facial areas. The treatment includes a skin assessment, discussion of expectations and goals, a treatment plan, before photographs, skin cleansing, blood collection and platelet injections. It may help improve dull complexion, rough and uneven texture, dry skin, enlarged pores, acne and blackheads, pigmentation, fine lines and acne scarring. Minimal downtime is expected. Aftercare includes avoiding sun, moisturising, drinking plenty of water, avoiding makeup for 2 to 12 hours, avoiding hot water for 12 to 24 hours, and using ice intermittently to reduce swelling if needed. One treatment is available, although three sessions spaced four weeks apart are most often recommended.
