Dedicated specialist obstetric care throughout pregnancy, from the first appointment at 8 to 10 weeks through to birth and six weeks postpartum. Includes continuous care, 24-hour on-call access to the obstetrician, a full review of medical, obstetric and family history, blood pressure and general health assessment, early pregnancy ultrasound to confirm the estimated due date, discussion of pregnancy symptoms and early concerns, referrals for non-invasive prenatal screening and other first trimester blood tests, and booking of follow-up appointments and the 13 week ultrasound. Patients should bring completed forms and fee schedules, a GP referral, Medicare and private health insurance cards, and relevant pathology and radiology reports.
