Electromagnetic locating of private underground electrical lines, including electric lines to wells, walkways, driveways, lot lighting, garages, pools, and generators. The locator marks identified lines with red paint and flags, avoiding paint on driveways, pavers, and garden areas unless requested. Customers do not need to be home, but pets must be secured and property access must be available. Markings are approximately 18 inches long and 20 feet apart, with flags in every other marking if requested. A tolerance zone of at least 18 inches on either side of the markings must be observed. Hand digging and test pits are recommended before mechanical excavation.
