Regular pregnancy care includes check-ups, health and pregnancy monitoring, education, laboratory testing when indicated, physical examinations, telephone contact, and video visits. Care is provided by a team that may include nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, obstetricians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and medical assistants.
