A practical driving test booking arranged jointly by the instructor and pupil once the pupil reaches test standard. The test usually lasts 38 to 40 minutes and includes an eyesight test, one tell me question, one show me question, one manoeuvre and an emergency stop if required. Candidates may have up to 15 minor faults, but no dangerous or serious driving faults. The pupil must pass the theory test first.
