A regenerative medicine procedure using the patient's own blood plasma and platelets. Blood is drawn from the arm, processed in a centrifuge, and the concentrated plasma and platelets are injected at the injury site. Ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance may be used. PRP injections may be indicated for tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, joint and ligament sprains, and muscle and tendon strains. One or multiple injections may be necessary.
