Peripheral Catheterization

at Chinatown Cardiology · New York City

Details.

A diagnostic procedure used to determine whether angioplasty or stenting is needed. A long, thin, flexible tube is inserted into a blood vessel in the arm or groin and passed through to the neck. Contrast dye and X-ray imaging help detect peripheral artery blockages. The procedure is available at the practice's onsite outpatient peripheral cath lab.
