Details.
Treatment consists of manual therapy with osteo-articular pumping and fascial normalisation, postural training to modify joint loading, myofascial stretching and analytical strengthening to affect surface contact and load sharing, and dietary recommendations for inflammatory response and weight management where needed. Treatment aims to treat injured tissue, create space and improve synovial fluid distribution within the joint, and lessen or change the mechanism of joint loading. Osteo-articular pumping is used for acute or chronic inflammation affecting joints and ligaments, including the knee, hip, foot and ankle, elbow, wrist, hands, spine and pelvis.
