A paid and expenses-paid residency for Australian independent dance artists, supporting any stage of a dance project or work's development from initial research through to creative development. The baseline offer includes a cash fee of $2,500, access to at least two weeks of space with a host partner, and accommodation on site or nearby. Additional support may include per diems, ground travel, access costs, workshops, exchanges, production support, equipment, creative mentoring and producing support. Participants must attend compulsory meetings, offer an engagement with the local community, participate in post-residency sharing, and complete a debrief conversation and short survey. Residencies are available through host partners in Victoria and NSW, with the program running between July 2021 and June 2022.
