Subcutaneous omalizumab injections for patients aged 12 years or older with moderate-to-severe chronic spontaneous urticaria or severe asthma, including patients who have not responded to standard treatments. Treatment is given every 2 to 6 weeks, with 1 to 3 injections per treatment. Nurses can provide assistance with self-administration at home. Patients are typically observed after their first injection and reviewed by their treating doctor every 3 to 6 months.
