Details.
A minimally invasive procedure that treats tooth decay and saves the natural tooth from extraction without making incisions or cuts. The dentist removes infected pulp, cleans and disinfects the root canals, fills them with gutta-percha, and seals the tooth with a filling or crown. Typically recommended when tooth decay is not too advanced. Patients can usually resume normal activities immediately, but aftercare may include avoiding hard or crunchy foods for a few days, taking prescribed pain medication, maintaining good oral hygiene, and scheduling a follow-up appointment.
