Details.
A detailed inspection of a newly built or recently refurbished property to identify defects, unfinished work and poor quality of finish. The survey covers every accessible area, including structural and cosmetic defects, water ingress and damp, services and installations, doors, windows and joinery, structural and building fabric, and external areas. The surveyor carries out a room-by-room inspection with annotated photographs, then provides a clear report listing each defect with photographs and descriptions for the developer to act on. Recommended before legal completion or as early as possible within the defects liability period. Follow-up inspections can also be carried out to confirm that defects have been remedied. Available across London.
