Details.
Treatment with Neupogen, a synthetic form of granulocyte colony stimulating factor. At least one dose is placed into the uterus during a procedure similar to a smear test around the time of ovulation, followed by self-injection into the abdomen every fourth day as directed by the clinician. The medicine must be kept refrigerated. The treatment is prescribed off label because evidence of its efficacy in reproductive immunology is inconclusive.
