Details.
Treatment for persistent forefoot pain caused by Morton's neuroma. Depending on the condition, the nerve may be released and pressure relieved, or the thickened nerve tissue may be surgically removed. The wound normally heals within two weeks. A dressing shoe allows cautious walking during this period, followed by a return to full weight bearing.
