A standard appointment includes a brief questionnaire covering work history, noise exposure and medical or ear history, otoscopy, pure-tone audiometry, immediate feedback, basic hearing protection advice and recommended follow-up where appropriate. Reports generally include an individual audiogram and interpretation, identification of workers who may need further follow-up, and summary reporting suitable for WHS records and hearing conservation programs.
