Minimally invasive fusion procedure for spinal instability caused by degenerative discs or facet joints, loss of disc height causing nerve compression, vertebral slippage or changes in spinal curvature. Access is through the side of the body, with disc material replaced by a bone graft and structural cage. The procedure is limited to one or two levels and vertebrae accessible from the side.
