Details.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy explores unconscious thoughts, feelings and memories that influence behaviour. It involves collaboratively examining the relationship between past experiences and present behaviour, identifying patterns in relationships and behaviours, resolving internal conflicts and developing healthier coping mechanisms. Sessions are usually face to face, weekly or twice a week for 50 minutes. The process usually begins with 2 to 3 initial assessment sessions.
