Intravenous medication treatment delivered in a hospital setting to manage neuropathic pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and other treatment-resistant conditions. A cannula and computer-operated infusion pump are used, while nursing staff monitor vital signs, pain levels and medication response. The dosage starts low and is gradually adjusted to identify the optimal level and possible side effects.
