Free health service for families living in the City of Monash. The service offers 10 Key Age and Stage appointments from birth to school age, including a home visit after birth and centre visits at 2, 4 and 8 weeks, 4, 8, 12 and 18 months, and 2 and 3.5 years. Consultations provide information, guidance and support on child health and development, maternal and family health, infant feeding, community information, safety and injury prevention, sleep and settling, toilet training, behaviour, and child and parent relationships. Telephone and telehealth appointments are available for families unable to attend an MCH centre. An SMS reminder is sent 3 to 4 days before the appointment.
