A four-month research fellowship, or part-time equivalent, for early career researchers to explore the British Library's European collections. The inaugural year focuses on French-language collections, particularly their artistic and visual aspects. Support includes an £8000 bursary, up to £2000 additional travel funding, a staff pass, laptop and desk space. Fellows must be within 10 years of completing their PhD, resident in the UK and expected to live in London for most of the award period. Applications require a cover email, research proposal and CV.
