After-school art classes for tweens and teens ages 8 to 14 who are motivated to draw, build, invent, paint, sculpt, imagine and create. Sessions are loosely organized around evolving themes, projects, skills, media and individual interests. No prerequisites. Students may arrive after 3:30 for a rolling start to snack, relax, work on individual projects or homework. Group instruction runs from 4:00 to 5:30. Classes meet in a working artist studio in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Mid-session enrollment is welcome when space is available.
