Details.
Laser hair removal uses light absorbed by melanin in the hair to damage hair follicles and inhibit or delay further hair growth without damaging the skin's surface. It can treat most body areas, including arms, legs, bikini, underarms and facial areas, and is suitable for males and females. It works best on darker, thicker hair than soft, fine hair. Temporary discomfort, redness and swelling may occur after treatment and generally resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Treated hair falls out over the following weeks. Most people require 4 to 12 sessions at 4 to 6 week intervals, depending on the treatment area, skin type and hair type. A customised treatment plan, including pre and post care, is discussed at consultation.
