A treatment using controlled pulses of light to target pigmentation, acne, sun damage, redness and facial thread veins, helping to even skin tone and produce firmer, smoother, younger-looking skin. Suitable for patients aged 18 or over with Fitzpatrick skin types 1 to 3. Available at the Moorgate Clinic only. An initial patch test is performed at least 48 hours before treatment. During the treatment, the skin is cleansed and examined, protective eyewear is worn, and sunscreen and aftercare instructions are provided afterwards. Preparation includes avoiding sun exposure for 4 weeks, fake tan for 2 weeks and other skin procedures for 4 weeks before treatment. Aftercare includes using SPF 30 to 50 sunscreen, avoiding heat and vigorous exercise for around 48 hours, and not exfoliating for 1 week.
