Places high-quality sperm, separated from non-moving sperm in the lab, directly inside the uterus to increase the number of sperm reaching the fallopian tubes and the chances of fertilisation. Treatment can be stimulated, using a short course of hormone therapy to prompt ovulation, or natural, where ovulation occurs unaided. The clinic will advise which option is best.
