The initial consultation is used to understand the current situation together and determine which treatment would be necessary, suitable and promising. A subsequent therapy place cannot be guaranteed and depends on individual needs and current capacity. The initial consultation is conducted by the practice's assistant doctor. Exclusion criteria include substance misuse, dependency disorders, borderline disorder, eating disorders, psychoses, ADHD diagnosis or treatment, sick leave exceeding six weeks except in cases of cancer, pension proceedings, requests for certificates or expert reports, and psychotherapy covered by statutory health insurance within the last two years.
