Details.
Prescription-only injectable treatment used to dissolve hyaluronic acid dermal and lip fillers in cases of lumps, migration, vascular occlusion or undesirable cosmetic outcomes. Includes an evaluation of the fillers and affected areas, suitability assessment and a patch test for allergy. A local anaesthetic is used to minimise discomfort. Full results are seen after 1 to 2 weeks. Suitable for dissolving hyaluronic acid fillers including Juvéderm, Restylane, Teoxane and Princess, but not non-hyaluronic acid fillers such as Sculptra and Ellanse. Localised swelling can last up to three hours, heavy exercise should be avoided for 24 hours, and new fillers should be delayed for two weeks.
